This Privacy Policy explains how Atollhop Pvt Ltd ("Atollhop", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal information when you use our website atollhop.com, mobile app, or any related services, together the Platform.

This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy. By using our Platform, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described here. We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on our Platform.

Our Platform is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have done so, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

  • To operate our Platform and deliver transport search results relevant to your query.
  • To connect you with Transport Providers, such as airlines, speedboat operators, and ferry operators, so you can complete a booking.
  • To send you important communications about your bookings, account, or our services.
  • To respond to your support requests, feedback, and queries.
  • To improve and personalise our Platform, for example by remembering your preferred departure point.
  • To analyse how our Platform is used and to identify and fix technical issues.
  • To ensure the security of our Platform and prevent fraud or misuse.
  • To comply with applicable laws and legal obligations in the Republic of Maldives.
  • To send you travel alerts or promotional communications where you have asked us to do so.

4. Legal bases for processing

We process your personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so.

  • Contract performance: processing necessary to provide you with our services, such as returning transport search results or facilitating a booking.
  • Legitimate interests: processing necessary for our reasonable business interests, such as improving our Platform, preventing fraud, and maintaining security, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: where you have specifically agreed to processing, such as receiving marketing emails or price alerts. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: where we are required to process data to comply with applicable law or a lawful government or court order in the Republic of Maldives.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following circumstances.

  • Transport Providers: where applicable, when you select a transport option, we share the information needed to connect you with the relevant airline, speedboat operator, or ferry operator to complete your booking. Their own privacy policies will apply once you interact with them directly.
  • Service providers: we work with trusted third-party companies to help us operate our Platform, such as cloud hosting providers, analytics tools, and customer support software. These providers are required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we instruct.
  • Legal and regulatory: we may disclose your data where required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a government authority in the Republic of Maldives. We may also disclose data where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Atollhop, our users, or others.

6. Data storage and security

Your personal data is stored securely on servers that meet industry-standard security requirements. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data from loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Atollhop is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party websites or services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or applicable law. When we make significant changes, we will notify you when you next use our Platform or by other appropriate means. The date at the top of this policy reflects when it was last updated.

Continued use of our Platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
